An attributive participle is a participle functioning exactly like an attributive adjective. It will typically be translated using a dependent clause.
Greek:
In Greek, participles are either articular or not. If they are, then they must be either attributive participles or substantival participles.
Attributive participles function like normal adjectives. The running bear… or the bear that is running…
Substantival participles function like nouns. They are generally translated with a clause. ο λεγων in English is the “one who speaks” or “the one who is speaking”
